We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service / Sales Administrator to support our operations and sales teams. This role involves managing customer orders, tracking production and shipments, coordinating cross-functional projects, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in order processing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, manufacturing-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or via EDI
- Review and analyze on-hand inventory levels to ensure order fulfillment
- Track and manage work orders and outgoing shipments
- Communicate shipping requirements to the transportation/logistics team
- Coordinate timelines and deliverables across departments for active projects
- Determine packaging needs and specs for new or custom projects
- Work up pricing quotes and secure customer purchase orders
- Provide responsive and professional customer service as needed
- Assist with other project-related tasks and administrative duties as required
Qualifications
- Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is a plus
- Familiarity with quality control processes is a plus
- Prior experience with EDI systems and WMS platforms preferred
